Firehouse Subs® is renowned for hearty, oversized portions and piping hot subs, but we’re just as proud of our Men’s Doubles Tennis Tournament. The tournament is in its 36th year, and in that time has donated more than $1.2 million to various charities. This year’s beneficiary is our own Public Safety Foundation, and our goal is to raise $250,000. So come out this year and volley with us to support local hometown heroes. Whether you’re out to spice up your slice or watch your friends or family show off their backhands, this tournament is one not to miss!

2010 Firehouse Subs Men’s Doubles Tennis Tournament Details
- Divisions: A, B, C, Open, Senior (50+) and Super Senior (60+)
- Free t-shirts for all players
- Entry fee is $50 per player
- Entries limited to 32 teams in each division; first come, first served
Prize Money: $10,000* Cash Prizes
1st place: $4,000
2nd place: $2,400
3rd place: $1,600
4th place: $1,200
5th place: $800
*Only open division winners will receive prize money.
Awards will be presented to 1st and 2nd place teams in regular draw and consolation brackets of each division.
Entry deadline is 11:59 p.m. Sunday, May 9, 2010
Matches begin at 8:00 a.m. Friday, Saturday, and Sunday

Stop by our Silent Auction, and shop to save lives. You’ll find everything from vacation getaways to tennis collectibles. The Silent Auction starts Friday, May 14 and ends Saturday, May 15 at 5:00 p.m. All proceeds benefit the Firehouse Subs Public Safety Foundation.

Saturday, May 15 is Kids’ Day. Bring your whole family to the Tennis Tournament. We have some fun activities planned for the children – bounce houses, clowns and real Dalmatians! The kids will certainly stay busy while Dad is playing tennis.
Kick Off Your Shoes at our Cannonball Punch Blowout
Join us on Saturday, May 15 at 3:00 p.m. for our famous Cannonball Punch Blowout. Enjoy our Cannonball Punch, provided by Jacksonville’s own Firehouse Subs muralist, Joe “Artbrush” Puskas. Then satisfy your appetite with “Steak & Shrooms,” Caesar salad, and mashed potatoes donated by our friends from Down Under - Outback Steakhouse.
